On the 7th day, which the the last day of my observation. Early in the morning when I get inside the room of teacher Arain. When I looked on her blackboard there’s list who’ll part the achievers. Some of them are not, but looking forward to the pupils who give their best to be the best. They deserve on that particular activities. Let’s congratulate them of all. Achievers or not but still on fighting.😊

On the 6th day of my observation, teacher Arain let her pupils to draw. While they are draw some of them colored there drawing. And after that one of her pupils stand in front and she name all colors what she have colored on her drawing. Teacher Arain was amazed of her drawing though its not so nice but we have to appreciate what she got.

“Color was just like you’re coloring your life to be looked good.”

On the 5th day of my observation, when I entered the room of Mrs. Arain her pupils was so silent because each of them read a book . While they are reading they gain learning through on it.

Being a student facilitator we want to share our knowledge to the children. So, last March 29, 2019 we had an activities held in Maranatha Christian Academy which is nearby CTU main campus. Upon entering Maranatha Christian Academy the school fascinates us because the maranathian speaks English fluently, they were so kind and the environment made us feel nervous but it was overwhelming when they welcomed us in their school.

When we started the program with different activities each facilitator facilitates their particular activities. The first activity was all about story telling. The children was so excited to listen to the story and they quickly gives feedback when they been asked by the reader of the story and they enjoyed the story entitled “Daddy’s Hammmock.”

Next activity was “Energizer.” all children was so eager to dance especially when they heard the music. Like they want to hit the ground and have some showdown with their facilitator. We play the best music that we could ever have so that we both enjoy the art of dancing.

Next activity was all about sand paper writing where the kids are asked to draw anything they wanted to draw using Sand paper and any drawing materials brought by the facilitators, the purpose of this activity was letting kids Express their ideas though drawing and also enhancing their cognitive skills. We all know that kids are fan of drawing and art is one of their favorite hobbies, so by the end of the activity we found talented kids or so called young artist with their impressive masterpiece and everybody was having fun with this activity.

The following activities was the puppet show, munch kin making, and blow the balloons, where the facilitators with their respective activities having fun with kids, Puppet show gives excitement to children were we could see through their faces the amazement and curiosity about the show where it was all about the little three pigs and the fox.

Munchkin making was also one of the best activity, literally we could say that kids look likes they were a young chef while making munchkins. They are so adorable and attentive in every detail and instructions that the facilitators gave. It’s like they are given a challenge and also a wonderful experience in this activity.

The last but not the least, is the activity called blow the balloons, where the kids are being asked to do an experiment on how to air the balloons using a little chemistry. They are given a substance and materials like baking soda, vinegar, and the balloons, the goal for this activity is to enhance the analytical thinking skills of the kids, like they were asked to thnk outside the box while making the experiment of making the balloons blown.

With a whole day full of activities and experience literally I was also surprised because basically I was not expecting to have this kind of experience, like it was one of my unforgettable experience in the field of education and as an aspirant educator. With this experience I could say that this is beyond my expectations and thanks God for giving me this wonderful experience.

On the 4th day of my observation, when I entered the classroom of teacher Arain. All of her pupils keep on busy like some of them are reading, writing and it was so great. While they are reading and writing they are still enjoy.

“Learning is full of fun”

On the 3rd day of my observation in the Zapatera Elementary School. In the morning when I entered the classroom of teacher Arain I saw that they are already start the discussion. Teacher Arain discuss how to write a letter and what are the parts of a letter. While teacher Arain discuss all of her pupils listened carefully and behave. No one keep on murmuring all of them focused the class discussions of Teacher Arain.

After teacher Arain discussed her lesson. She let her pupils to copy what she write in the blackboard. And everybody do it.

It so good to be learned.

On the 2nd day of my observation I arrived early in the morning. When l’ll be there in Zapatera Elementary School I took some pictures around there school campus because seeing their rooms or buildings look so nice. And after that I went to my perspective classroom which is the classroom of Teacher Arain before I stepped to go inside the room there’s one pupils saw me in the entrance door. So, when they’re saw me they greeted me a “Good Morning teacher Angelica” without knowing that they are already know my name and it was so heartwarming I felt that I am part of there as a whole.

After that teacher Arain let her pupils to read about the vowel sounds individually. Because some of her pupils difficult to read especially the sound of the vowels. Seeing them to read and to participate the class was my happiness.

During my 1st of observation in Zapatera Elementary School and I have already an assigned classroom and I assigned the classroom of Mrs. Evely Arain she handled grade 2 pupils.

Before I entered her classroom I looked around there school campus. And I observed that there campus was clean and nice because the wall of each particular classroom has a painting and it was so attractive. There environment was so good and amazing and the students there was respectful especially, there security guard in the school campus. He always greet us a “Good Morning” and it was like sounds good.

So, when I entered the classroom of teacher Arain me and my partner shocked and amazed because teacher Arain let her pupils welcome us with a good manner. And also that day was Valentine’s day all of her pupils greeted us a “HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY” and we are so much appreciated even though its a small thing but we valued it.

When teacher Arain discussed since it was Valentine’s day, she discussed “The love of God” teacher Arain asked her pupils what is “GUGMA” one of her pupils raised his hand and he answered that “paghigugma sa mama ug papa” exactly its right teacher Arain gave his a nice clap. Every pupils of teacher Arain listened carefully with her discussion some of them are participating and well behaved.

I was born in the peace of molocaboc under the city of sagay, negros Occidental which is my mother’s place. A place that limited resources like drinking water, electricity is quite they prefer to used “Lampara” in bisaya or illongo.

Barangay molocaboc is an island with coastal features og mangroves, white sand beaches and coral reefs formations. Barangay molocaboc is one of a rural barangay of sagay city. Which is the economy there is mainly based on fishing this place noted for its dried boneless danggit, variety shells and squid products. And also they have a dominant sugay apple or commonly called “Atis”. Mostlty of the residents there are engaged in shell craft making and other have sari-sari store scattered in the island to augment their income eveyday.

The residents of barangay molocaboc utilize rainwater as their main water source others acquire their potable water by purchasing it from the adjacents barangay vito through containers. The water that they used for a bath is a little bit salty because the water there is coming from deep well.

Molocaboc sagay city is one of my favorite place because I like there language like the way they speak in ilonggo, and the way they treat people they are so much kind. Though mostly of the residents there is not to high they are just living in a simple life.

Molocaboc sagay city is the best.
